GRAY MARBLE 75 X 90 X 25 cm In Yonina's Studio Gallery |
This profile of a man's face was sculpted in gray marble. It enhances the entrance to our home in Kibbutz Urim.
This is my white Elephant and Baby - all in one piece of marble......45 x 50 x 40 c'm. On view in Yonina's Sculpture
Garden in Kibbutz Urim.

Marble is the main material in which I sculpt at present. I particularly like to sculpt people and animals. My marble
is brought to Israel from Turkey, Greece or Cyprus. In our country the closest stone to marble is from Hebron or
the Galilee area around Fassuta. Limestone is available in our area, the Negev, and sandstone can also be obtained. Marble
is especially beautiful when polished, with some areas left in the rough crystal texture.
